1. What JokeBoards is

A floating board of jokes. Read without an account. Submit via Google Form. Every joke gets a permanent ID (JK-XXXX). Homescreen is clean only. 18+ is gated, separate, no ads, noindex.

2. What you submit

By submitting, you confirm: (a) the joke is yours, or a common / public-domain joke, not copied verbatim from a copyrighted book, show, or routine; (b) you allow us to publish it with the name / Instagram / country you approved; (c) if you mark it Original, you provide an email so we can contact you for shoutouts or issues. We preserve your original text — we only fix typos, spacing, and line breaks, never rewrite the punchline.

We do not require a source link. A “Collected” tag means you say it is common / public domain — it does not transfer copyright liability. If a joke is later found to infringe, we remove it via the process below.

3. What we publish / moderate

All submissions are reviewed daily around 9/10pm NPT. We may reject, edit formatting, re-categorize, or hold for human review. We auto-reject fully offensive content (hate, bullying, targeting, explicit sexual detail, pornographic links). Religion / community jokes are strictly reviewed — no dehumanizing, no mocking a group as inferior. Time-sensitive jokes are prioritized.

Personal data is published to a card only when the owner explicitly approves it for that joke. Email is never published.

4. Original vs Collected

Original: you wrote it. Email required. You keep ownership; you grant JokeBoards a non-exclusive license to publish it with attribution you approved. Collected: common / public-domain joke. No email required, but you must check the “not from a copyrighted book/show” box.

5. 18+ rules

18+ is mild adult humor / innuendo only. No explicit sexual detail, no pornographic descriptions or links, no targeting or bullying. Gate requires 18+ checkbox + birth year + hidden code from Privacy Policy. 18+ has no ads and is not indexed.

6. Kids safety

No Instagram display on Kids jokes. No email / Instagram collection from under-13. If you are under 13, submit as Anonymous.

7. Reports, removal, DMCA

Every joke has a Report path. 3 reports = auto-hide pending review. To request removal, use the Removal Request form with the Joke ID, your relation (author / rights holder / other), reason, and contact email (optional). For DMCA, include: identification of the work, the Joke ID + URL, your contact, a good-faith statement, and your signature (typed name is fine). We review daily and remove or fix promptly, and we notify the submitter if we have their email.

8. Votes, Top Contributors

V1: local heart only. V2: global up/down via Cloudflare D1, one vote per device per joke, Wilson score for Top Rated. Top Contributors are ranked by approved quality (approved jokes + upvotes, min 5 upvotes to count). Gaming votes (bots, refresh loops) may lead to removal of votes / jokes.

9. Ads

Ads are static, labeled “Advertisement”, never floating, never made to look like jokes. We do not place AdSense in the 18+ section or in floating cards.

10. Liability

Jokes are user-submitted or team-seeded for entertainment. We moderate, but we do not guarantee every joke is original or error-free. If you rely on a joke, that is on you. Our liability is limited to removing / fixing the joke promptly after a valid report.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version on this page is current. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
